Effects of menopause

Luckily, we are much more aware of how the perimenopause, menopause and being post-menopausal can affect us. We no longer have to suffer in silence. Brain fog, mood swings, hot flushes, fatigue, achy joints and thinning hair are some of the things we may still have to deal with. Hormonal Replacement Therapy and supplements like collagen may prove beneficial. Getting the physical symptoms in check is a step in making us feeling better but the mental effects of the transition to different stage of our lives can take an emotional and mental toll.
