I’m Maureen, a trained clinical hypnotherapist and psychotherapist. Through a short series of relaxing hypnotherapy sessions I can help you to overcome the following:

Why me?
I understand the stresses of everyday life and how they can impact us, affecting our sleep, mood, confidence and general wellbeing. I know that stress can come in all walks of life and how solution-focused hypnotherapy can help you feel calmer about the things you have to do and the decisions you have to make. It can also give you the confidence to prioritise your general wellbeing and focus on the things that will make you feel healthier and happier.

Experience

I have worked with children and young people for many years and understand the worries and concerns that they can have, especially post pandemic. I understand how anxiety can build up and affect a young person. I use hypnotherapy to help them learn to relax and to increase their self-belief and sense of self-worth – a major step towards reducing anxiety and regulating the nervous system. I also have worked in busy, deadline-driven environments and know how these can lead to fatigue and burnout. For students, professionals and parents, hypnotherapy is a useful counterbalance to a busy life. I use hypnotherapy to help clients understand their feelings and reactions, particularly if these seem overwhelming. I have witnessed how hypnotherapy can help clients to regain a sense of harmony in their lives and look forward to the future with positivity. It can also be effective if you simply want a boost to make you feel better and do better.
Personal
My interest in hypnotherapy began in my search for a method of reclaiming calm and control while transitioning through the different stages of my life. Dealing with uncertainty and questioning the future is something that many of us will experience. Hypnotherapy has enabled me to understand the power of the mind and the nature of self-limiting behaviour. I have chosen to be a solution-focused hypnotherapist because I like the way it empowers clients to feel their best. Working with me in hypnotherapy sessions can help you to find the solution that is best for you.

I’m here to help you overcome your fears and phobias and feel much better about yourself and your life.
The sessions will be tailored to suit you. They can be carried out online at a mutually convenient time or, depending on where you live, in person. All sessions are completely confidential and you can be assured that you will be treated in a friendly and professional manner.
